Pearisburg and 625 miles

Somebody shoot me... or burn all the trees..... My allergies are killing me. I have tried many remedies, homeopathic, essential oils, benedril, even sucking it up, but I am still dying.

So where to start with this update. So I hiked north to Bland, VA where me and a few friends hitch hiked back down to Damascus for Trail Days.
It was a pretty good time, lots of drinking and stinky hikers about. I got to see a few hikers I haven't seen in ages, especially Wheels, I haven't seen him since the second day. Georgia came down to visit me on friday night, and is hiking with me for another few days. Here is a pic of the hiker parade. Wish I had one of those Super Soaker from the '90s that had a 1" stream that could take out an eye....
Me and Georgia have been taking it easy, doing a hostel tour, as we wait for Liz to come hike. Then I have to bust out some 20-30 mile days to catch up to some friends. Oh yeah, I wanted to give a shout out to all the vendors who helped me out....
Catch you on the trail.

Pony Sex and Marion, VA<----- Details inside

526.7 and pony sex. HOT pony sex. So we are up in the Grayson Highlands after a hellacious storm in Thomas Knob Shelter. There was a hurricane warning in the area, and Thomas Knob (Mt. Rogers) is known for bad weather. The rain (or hail) was hitting the roof so hard that we had to yell to hear each other. The rain and hail quit around 10pm but the wind picked up.... and I didn't sleep. I thought the roof was going to lift off the shelter, and it nearly did. It didn't help that we were in the loft (the second floor for you non hikers out there), and yes there are some nice shelters out here on the trail. Google picture search, also picture search Dicks Dome shelter and pony Sex. Let me know what you find.

But anyhow, the pony sex. We were hiking and everyone, especially the boys were gitty about the ponies. There were three females ponies, one mustang, and about eight gitty hikers. The females came up and let us pet them and they licked the salt off of our arms. Then Blessed approached the male who had been keeping its distance. We didn't know it was a male, until he started making horsey noises and turned to show his package. He was in full swing and proceeded to mount another horse and, brown chicken brown cow. Everyone was laughing and getting pictures, Schooner even got some close ups.... We now know what he is into.

Anyhow, we just got some amazing food at John and Becky house. I am so full, potato/salad/chikin strips (vegan), and broccoli. I will leave you there.

Miss you all. See you soon.

463 Miles: Gary Coleman told me dat....

Well, It has been a while since I have updated, sorry to keep you in suspense. I am alive (obviously), and no uncle corkey I don't have the swine flu. We can thank meat mouths and agribusiness for this one. http://www.avaaz.org/en/swine_flu_pandemic/?cl=225349020&v=3271

Anyhow, I am in Damascus Virginia. I have successfully completed 463 miles and left Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee behind me. I have 500 miles of Virginia to look forward to, which is also known as the Virgina Blues.

The weather has been wet for the last 6 days, and lots more of it to come.

Well, here are some pics: Wise words on the side of a shelter...

Me at the 400 mile mark.
